Rex Begonia Constellation Capricorn |
Very Dark Pink with Extreme Leaf Curl. Capricorn PPAF leaps to get our attention with its strong color markings and extreme leaf curl. Capricorn PPAF is the darkest pink in this series. The bands of color visually accentuate the spiral leaf curl. Leaves can grow very large as well, 8" or more in length. The dark pink centers are surrounded by a distinct band of silver-white paint splashing, 1 ½" wide. The leaf edge is dark pink, undulates, is indented, and fuzzy. This plant is dramatic and very bold in presentation. |
Rex Begonia Constellation Libra |
Bright Pink Rex Begonia (no leaf curl). Libra PPAF is romantic and charming, balanced in its color presentation. Libra PPAF is the brightest pink in the Rex Begonia Constellation Series. Similar to the other varieties, Libra PPAF bears triple zones of color on each leaf. Leaves are medium sized, 5-7" in length. The center patch is light pink. An irregular ¼" zone of white separates the solid pink from the star-splashed field of silver-white over green. The outside edge of every leaf is a dark purple/pink, fuzzy, and undulating. |
Rex Begonia Constellation Taurus |
Dark Pink Rex Begonia with Partial Leaf Curl. Taurus PPAF is the Bull of the Series, and muscles its way in with very dark pink color, large 8-9" leaves, and a curled "horn" at one leaf lobe as the plant matures. Three vibrant rings of color mark each leaf. The center is deep pink to red. The middle zone is paint-splashed white over green. The outside edge of the leaf is incised, fuzzy, and undulates. A narrow ¼" zone of pink color rides this border, drawing attention to the leaf curl, and cut leaf margin. |
